Ross addresses Coleraine meeting

Speaking at a public meeting in Coleraine last Thursday TUV President William Ross said:
“You will have noticed Gerry Adams calling for investigations into the activities of bankers and others who responsible for creating the present economic situation. For once I agree with him, but in the interests of common decency it would be far better to carry out a vigorous and detailed examination into the behaviour of the republican movement and its individual members over the years since 1968. The recovery of the small item of £26m, never mind the proceeds of all the other robberies, extortion and rackets would be some help in the present situation. I feel like vomiting every time I consider what they have got away with.
“Sadly the UUP and DUP are both supporters of they system which put them in government. They cannot now disown it in the run up to an election.
“If we are to have something new it can only be created by those who foresaw what would happen. We need new wine in a new bottle. We need as a first step to send Jim Allister back to Europe with a thumping majority over the pro-agreement parties”.
