Allister to address Magherafelt meeting

Traditional Unionist Voice leader Jim Allister is to address a public meeting in Magherafelt Orange Hall this Saturday at 8pm.
Mr Allister will give an update on his work in Brussels, with a particular focus of the evening being given to farming issues. Those in attendance will receive an interesting insight into some of the major discussions taking place at EU level.
Speaking ahead of the meeting Mr Allister said:
“Mid Ulster has proved to be fertile ground for the TUV. People in the area have been very responsive to our message. This can be seen both in the size of the local branch and the success we have had with fundraising efforts.
“I look forward to dealing with issues of concern to the farming community, which have been a particular passion of mine during my time in the European Parliament, while also examining the democratic alternatives to terrorist inclusive government”
Mid-Ulster TUV chairman, Walter Miller, added:
“Local branch members are looking forward to the visit of our party leader to Magherafelt. We believe that Unionist opposition to Belfast Agreement devolution remains strong and that this will be demonstrated in the European election next June. Many people appreciate TUV’s stand on the bid constitutional issues and it is universally recognised Jim Allister has proven himself to be a tireless advocate for the farming community.
“I would encourage everyone to come along to hear what the TUV have to say about both the practical matters of concern to farmers and the elevation of terrorists to the head of the government of our Province”.
