Statement by TUV Party President William Ross:

“As we enter the final stages of the election campaign it is becoming apparent that more and more people recognize that TUV offer the only genuine alternative to the DUP.

“With David Cameron making it clear that UCUNF MPs will be expected to walk through the lobbies to vote for vicious cuts in Northern Ireland no one believes that they will mount a serious challenge to the DUP.

 “UCUNF candidates are wedded to the Tory Party and their cuts. They will not be able to speak up in the best interests of Northern Ireland. Many people are coming over to the TUV to ensure that solid, dependable Unionist candidates are elected.

“DUP candidates are wedded to Sinn Fein/IRA. Being in partnership with the Provisionals at Stormont means that they cannot be a free and unfettered voice for Unionism.

“TUV is the only Unionist party in this election which offers the people the chance to vote for candidates who are free and unfettered by attachments to any other party.

“As I go round the doors it is evident that ordinary Unionists recognise these realities and are rallying to the TUV banner.”
