Statement by South Antrim TUV candidate Mel Lucas:

“I would commend the bands which took part in Saturday night’s parade in Randalstown. The town was packed with the excellent turnout from local people and an enjoyable night was had by all in attendance.

“The TUV canvass team and myself were encouraged by the response which received from the public as we handed out literature ahead of the Westminster poll. It was interesting to note that TUV were the only canvass team in attendance at the parade. Clearly the outgoing MP and Sir Reg, one of the chief architects of the Belfast Agreement, recognise that there is still strong opposition to the Belfast Agreement in South Antrim”.
