Commenting on today's Court decision, Mr Allister said he would continue to pursue his defamation action against Mr Paisley Jnr through the courts and pursue his potential remedy in damages for any continuing distribution of the leaflets. 
 
He welcomed the vindication of the court (page 2 para 3 of Judgement) that Mr Paisley had accepted that while being paid as an MEP he was not working and earning income as a barrister practising in the criminal courts. All such money received was money owing to Mr Allister for work done before he became an MEP.
