TUV South Antrim Westminster candidate Mel Lucas has welcomed the news that Northgate Management Services is to create 88 new jobs, most of which will be at its Newtownabbey head office.

Councillor Lucas said:
“New job opportunities are welcome at anytime but during an economic downturn this is particularly welcome. Northgate has been able to not only secure the existing posts but also create new jobs in the information and technology sector.

“It is testament to the skill base and hard work of people within the Newtownabby area that a major employer - which has some 1300 staff on its books across the United Kingdom - should choose to site the jobs here.”
