Coleraine Traditional Unionist Voice AGM

The Coleraine branch of Traditional Unionist Voice has elected officers for the incoming year at their AGM held in Loughan Orange Hall, Coleraine.
The officers elected are Robert Bolton (chairman), Diane McFetridge (treasurer) and Elizabeth Collins (secretary).
Commenting on the year past, Mrs Collins said:
“The year has been highly successful for the local branch. The auction in September and branch dinner in November were particular highlights. The work will continue in the incoming months with a table quiz planned for Garvagh British Legion Hall on 6th February. I would urge everyone to come along and enjoy what promises to be a fun filled evening.”
Re-elected chairman, Robert Bolton, was also upbeat about the party’s prospects in East Londonderry:
“The past year has shown that there is strong support for the party in this constituency. However, we are not prepared to sit back and be complacent. We are intent upon going forward and making progress. That is why we have organised a public meting for Coleraine Town Hall for Thursday 26th February at 8 pm which the party leader, Jim Allister, will address. I would appeal for all Unionists to come along and hear an alternative to terrorist inclusive government.
“The policies espoused by Traditional Unionist Voice are not new. In fact, what we are saying has been the historic position of the broad Unionist family. We look forward to the challenge of the European election where Unionists the length and breadth of the Province will have an opportunity to pass their verdict on Sinn Fein in government.”
