Cllr Sharon McKillop has welcomed the news that Northern Ireland Water is set to invest £1 million in Moyle.
 

Commenting on the news Cllr McKillop stated:
 

"I welcome the announcement that Northern Ireland Water will invest £1 million within Moyle.

I understand that this major investment will involve the upgrade of the water mains between Cushendall and Cushendun.

The work is scheduled to commence in March and should be completed by August. Obviously throughout this period there will be some disruption to the local community however I would urge everyone to remain patient as this significant investment will act to improve the reliability and quality of the water in the area.

I look forward to the completion of the works and sampling some of the improved water."
