TUV Chairman for South Antrim Mr Albert Steele has expressed his outrage after learning that graves in Antrim Cemetery were damaged after car thieves drove a stolen car through a cemetery in Antrim.
 

Commenting he stated:

“During the remembrance weekend many families arrived at Antrim cemetery to remember loved ones only to discover that headstones and surrounds had been destroyed by a sickening group of criminals that had hijacked a car and proceeded to rampage through the cemetery.

The scene would have been utterly devastating for families visiting the cemetery and our thoughts and prayers are with all the families who have suffered because of this crime.

I would urge anyone with any information to contact the police immediately. Those responsible must be held to account for their grotesque actions.”
