Mid Ulster TUV Chairman Walter Miller has drawn a parallel between recent Republican attacks and the emergence of a DVD celebrating terrorism in Pomeroy, reported on in the Mid Ulster Mail two weeks ago.

Mr Miller said:
“Some time ago the Mid Ulster Mail carried a story which highlighted the existence of a DVD which celebrated the exploits of IRA terrorist, Seamus Woods.

“Woods was blown up by his own bomb in 1988 when preparing to launch a murderous attack upon Pomeroy RUC Station. Those who support the forces of law and order will shed no tears over the passing of an individual who, but for the intervention of Providence, would have robbed innocent police officers of their lives. However, it is evident from this DVD that Republicans remain unrepentant about their bloody history.

“Give that products such as this are still circulating among members of the Provisional Movement, many Unionists will treat the equivocal condemnations of Adams and McGuinness of the recent murders with contempt.”
